As the Carolina Panthers approach the final preseason game, roster decisions are imminent. Coach Dave Canales and staff will finalize the roster by the NFL cut deadline on August 30, 2026. Among the players facing uncertainty is David Moore, who was not included in a recent 53-man roster projection by ESPN’s Mike Kaye. With Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette solidified in their spots, and other young players performing well, Moore may be vying for a practice squad role instead. The situation remains fluid with ongoing evaluations taking place this week.
