Pat Fitzgerald makes jokes about Lane Kiffin on radio show

Michigan State head football coach Pat Fitzgerald addressed the college athletics and team travel during his debut radio broadcast on Tuesday, Sept. 1. During the appearance, Fitzgerald made two lighthearted comments regarding LSU coach Lane Kiffin. The first remark came while discussing Michigan State offensive lineman Conner Moore, while the second occurred after the host noted that the Michigan State volleyball team swept LSU in a recent match. The events took place ahead of the Michigan State football season opener against Toledo, scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. at Spartan Stadium. Fitzgerald noted that he considers Kiffin a friend despite the playful jabs.
