Patriots and Seahawks open 2026 NFL season with Super Bowl rematch

The New England Patriots travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks in the NFL season opener on Wednesday. This matchup serves as a rematch of Super Bowl LX, which the Seahawks previously won. New England enters the season with wide receiver A.J. Brown joining quarterback Drake Maye, while the Seahawks look to rookie running back Jadarian Price to lead the ground game in the absence of Kenneth Walker III and the injured Zach Charbonnet. Both teams have adjusted their rosters significantly since their last meeting in February. The Patriots aim to secure a win to start their campaign, while Seattle seeks to maintain its edge over New England. Coverage of the game will monitor the performance of new additions and the teams' respective abilities to control the line of scrimmage throughout the four quarters.
