Paul Siler II concludes athletic season at state track and field meet

BasketballPaul Siler II will represent Edgewood High School at the state track and field tournament this weekend at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus. Competing in the Division III discus event, Siler is scheduled to throw Friday at 4:30 p.m. He is seeded sixth after achieving a distance of 163’6” in the regional meet. Siler, who played key roles in football and basketball this past year, is looking to cap off his inaugural state experience with a strong performance. His preparation has included fine-tuning his throwing skills in practice and getting familiar with the stadium facilities prior to the event.
