Peoria Rivermen sign forward Carson Riddle and defenseman Pearce Baker

The Peoria Rivermen expanded their roster for the 2026-27 SPHL season on Tuesday by signing forward Carson Riddle and defenseman Pearce Baker. Riddle returns to the organization after appearing in nine regular-season games and one postseason contest last spring, where he recorded one goal and two assists. The 25-year-old Baker joins the club as a rookie out of the college ranks, having recently completed a four-year career at Anna Maria College. Baker earned first-team All-MASCAC honors last season while contributing to the team's conference championship. The addition of these two players brings the Peoria offseason roster to 13 total athletes. Peoria enters the upcoming campaign as the defending regular-season points champions.
