Pete Prisco ranks Seahawks first in NFL preseason power rankings

Summary

The NFL season opens with the Seattle Seahawks holding the top spot in Pete Prisco’s Week 1 Power Rankings. Despite the Los Angeles Rams assembling a roster featuring Matthew Stafford, Myles Garrett, and Aaron Donald, they sit at second in the rankings due to a competitive division. Prisco identifies the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars as his primary candidates for a Super Bowl appearance, placing them fifth and third respectively. The Miami Dolphins open at the bottom of the list, with expectations centered on rebuilding efforts under coach Jeff Hafley. Other notable shifts include the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers moving up the rankings as teams prepare for the kickoff of the 2026 season.
