Pewaukee reaches WIAA Division 2 softball final with inside-the-park HR

Pewaukee advances to the WIAA Division 2 softball championship game after defeating top-seeded Medford, 1-0, in the semifinals on June 12. Harper Gould provided the lone run with an inside-the-park home run in the sixth inning. Despite having runners on base multiple times, Medford could not score, as Pewaukee's pitcher Hailey Hutchens secured the shutout with solid performance, allowing seven hits and four walks. Pewaukee, now 21-9, will face third-seeded Fox Valley Lutheran (25-3) in the final at 4 p.m. on June 13.
