PFF ranks Micah Parsons among Cowboys' best edge rushers

Summary

Micah Parsons, drafted 12th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, has been recognized by Pro Football Focus as one of the franchise's top edge rushers over the past two decades. After a standout four seasons with the Cowboys, including over 12 sacks in each year, Parsons was traded to the Green Bay Packers amidst contract disputes. He contributed significantly to the Packers before suffering a torn ACL late in the 2025 season. Despite his absence, Parsons' impact in Dallas remains highlighted by a recent assessment that includes him among the team’s elite defensive players. He is currently recovering and his availability for the 2026 season is uncertain.
