Pirelli confirms tyre compounds for 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix

Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds for the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix happening this weekend. Teams will receive C3, C4, and C5 compounds, which are the softest in their range. Each driver will have two sets of hard tyres, three medium tyres, and eight soft tyres, in addition to intermediate and wet options. The track at the Hungaroring has been recently resurfaced, which is expected to impact tyre performance, as thermal degradation plays a crucial role due to high temperatures. Following the race, Pirelli will conduct two days of testing in Budapest with Aston Martin, Audi, and Alpine to develop next season's tyres.
