Pirelli confirms tyre compounds for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre selection for the 14th round of the 2026 Formula 1 season at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Drivers will receive the C3 hard, C4 medium, and C5 soft compounds, representing the softest range available from the supplier. Each driver is allocated two sets of hards, three sets of mediums, and eight sets of softs for the weekend. Team simulations suggest a one-stop strategy is the most likely race approach, despite anticipated performance increases from new power unit regulations. The circuit features updated kerbs at Turns 1, 4, and 8, along with a new asphalt run-off area at Turn 5 to address track safety. Drivers must manage rear axle temperatures as the high-speed nature of the track demands high traction on corner exits.
