Pirelli reveals Fragile trophy design for Italian Grand Prix podium finishers

Pirelli Motorsport commissioned the Italian artist duo vedovamazzei to design the podium trophies for this year’s Italian Grand Prix. The trophies, titled Fragile, feature a stacked composition of cups and bowls that were created using 3D printing, nylon powder, and galvanization. Designers Stella Scala and Simeone Crispino intended the work to represent the transitory nature of victory, symbolizing how success is earned repeatedly rather than held permanently. This project marks the sixth year Pirelli has collaborated with artists for the event. In addition to the trophies for the top three drivers and winning constructors, the manufacturer introduced a limited-edition podium cap featuring gold embroidery and the Azzurro color palette of Italian sport.
