Pitcher Mike Clevinger signs injury replacement contract with NC Dinos

Nine-year MLB veteran Mike Clevinger has signed a six-week injury-replacement contract with the NC Dinos of the Korea Baseball Organization. The deal is valued at $75,000. Clevinger was recently released by the Pittsburgh Pirates after recording a 4.74 ERA across 24.2 innings at Triple-A Indianapolis. He previously pitched for the Chicago White Sox during the 2025 season. The right-hander is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on September 13 and join the team on September 15. This marks the first time in his professional career that Clevinger will play outside of the United States. He served as a frontline starter for the Cleveland Guardians from 2017 to 2020 before undergoing Tommy John surgery.
