Pitt commit Tyler Reid recorded 324 rushing yards on 13 carries for St. Thomas Aquinas, accounting for all four of his team's touchdowns. The game remained competitive until the final minutes after Columbus erased a deficit to tie the score at 24-24. Reid broke the deadlock with an 80-yard touchdown run on the first play of the following drive to secure the result for the Raiders. St. Thomas Aquinas entered the contest as the No. 1 ranked team according to USA TODAY Sports.
