Raiders promote Chris Myarick and Cody White before Dolphins game

The Raiders elevated tight end Chris Myarick and wide receiver Cody White from the practice squad ahead of the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Myarick joins the active roster to provide depth at tight end following an injury to Brock Bowers. The 6-5 veteran last appeared in an NFL game three seasons ago and previously spent time with the Dolphins, Jaguars, Texans, and Giants. Wide receiver Cody White joins the active roster after being released by the Seahawks during final roster cutdowns. White brings previous experience under offensive coordinator Klink Kubiak and offers additional height to a receiving corps that includes Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, and Jack Bech. These roster moves bolster the Raiders offense before the team faces Miami in their opening game of the season.
