Raiders sign cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. off waivers

The Las Vegas Raiders acquired cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. on Monday following his release by the San Francisco 49ers. Luter was the most sought-after player on the waiver wire, drawing claims from four other teams including the Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, and Indianapolis Colts. A fifth-round pick in 2023, Luter appeared in 17 games with three starts during the 2025 season, recording 28 tackles and one fumble recovery. To accommodate the roster move, the Raiders released cornerback Decamerion Richardson. The waiver claim occurs as teams finalize their 53-man rosters following the league deadline on Sunday.
