Raiders sign running back Owen Wright to practice squad

The Raiders have added running back Owen Wright to their practice squad following the signing of wide receiver Cody White. This move addresses an available spot after wide receiver Jack Bech was placed on injured reserve. Wright, an undrafted free agent from Monmouth, enters his fourth NFL season. He has previously spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but limited opportunities have resulted in just a handful of carries across four game appearances. During the offseason, the Raiders evaluated Wright during a scrimmage against the Houston Texans before he was released by Houston amidst final roster cuts. Currently, Wright will look to contribute to the Raiders' running game depth as the season unfolds.
