Rams select 11 team captains for the 2026 NFL season

The Los Angeles Rams announced their team captains for the 2026 season on Monday following a player vote. The 11 selections represent the largest group of captains during the tenure of head coach Sean McVay, surpassing the previous high of nine in 2020. The leadership group features a balanced distribution with five offensive players, five defensive players, and one special teams representative. Among the captains are six returning players and three newcomers to the franchise. Quarterback Matthew Stafford leads the group, having served as a captain in every season since joining the team in 2021. The roster of captains also includes Davante Adams, Kyren Williams, Tyler Higbee, Coleman Shelton, Kobie Turner, Myles Garrett, Nate Landman, and Trent McDuffie.
