Raquel Rodriguez defends Women's Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw in Cleveland

WWE Raw visits the Rocket Arena in Cleveland on August 31 for a card featuring a Women's Intercontinental Championship match. Champion Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day faces challenger Sol Ruca in her first televised defense of the title. Rodriguez originally captured the championship from Ruca on the July 27 episode of the program. The broadcast also features the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament between Penta and Rey Fenix to determine the opponent for Roman Reigns. Reigns is scheduled to appear on the show ahead of his upcoming title defense on September 14. This event follows recent weeks of tournament action that saw Fenix overcome El Fiscal and Dragon Lee, while Penta advanced past Laredo Kid and La Parka.
