Raymond Buchanan joins Celtic board following leadership changes

Raymond Buchanan has been appointed as a non-executive director of Celtic, effective next year. Currently the Director of Corporate Affairs at Scottish Water, Buchanan will step down from his position to return to Celtic, where he began his working life as a waiter. This appointment comes as part of a broader board refreshment strategy after the retirements of long-serving directors Peter Lawwell and Tom Allison. Interim chairman Brian Wilson expressed confidence in Buchanan and fellow appointee Mark Keane bringing fresh perspectives to the club. Both directors are noted lifelong Celtic supporters.
