Real Madrid earns €15 million from Mario Gila's transfer to AC Milan

Summary

Real Madrid has confirmed a €15 million windfall following Mario Gila's transfer to AC Milan, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Gila, who was formerly with Lazio, moved for a total of €30 million, which includes a 50% sell-on clause benefiting Real Madrid. After developing in the club's academy, Gila had his first-team debut under Carlo Ancelotti and was sold to Lazio in 2022. His strong performances in Serie A led to AC Milan's interest this summer. This transfer adds to Real Madrid's successful strategy of monetizing former academy players, having already generated over €100 million this summer from several key sales.
