Real Madrid mutually terminate contract with midfielder Dani Ceballos
Summary

Real Madrid announced the mutual termination of Dani Ceballos' contract on June 26, 2026. The decision comes as Ceballos, who joined the club in 2017, was not included in the plans of new manager José Mourinho following a disappointing season. Instead of pursuing a transfer, the club opted for a contract termination, allowing Ceballos to leave as a free agent. He leaves after winning 16 titles with the team, including three Champions League trophies.
