Real Madrid pursues former Atletico Madrid youth winger Jorge Rajado

Real Madrid is working to sign 20-year-old winger Jorge Rajado following his departure from the Atletico Madrid youth system. Rajado recently ended a decade-long tenure with the Atletico academy after featuring 16 times for the Atletico C squad last season. During that campaign, the winger recorded four goals, though his development was hampered by recurring injuries. Real Madrid intends to integrate the player into their La Fabrica youth development structure. The potential transfer follows a trend of increasing player movement between the two rivals since an informal non-aggression agreement regarding academy prospects effectively concluded in 2022. Both clubs have since recruited several youth players from one another as part of their respective development strategies.
