Real Madrid targets Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni as centre-back option

Summary

Real Madrid is actively pursuing a left-footed centre-back to bolster its defense this summer. Manager Jose Mourinho considers Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni the ideal candidate for this position. Despite the club's financial challenges and a reported price tag of €70 million for Bastoni, Mourinho is advocating for his recruitment to enhance the team's defensive stability. The situation could evolve if Real Madrid facilitates a significant sale in defense, with Raul Asencio's potential departure currently complicated by injury.
