Reese Alston visits LSU as part of recruitment process

Five-star point guard prospect Reese Alston is scheduled for an official visit to LSU this weekend. The 6-foot-3 senior, who attends Second Baptist in Texas, is currently ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in the 2027 class. Alston recently identified LSU as one of his final seven prospective schools alongside Houston, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Wichita State. The recruit, son of former NBA player Rafer Alston, averaged 22.2 points per game during his junior season. In previous discussions, Alston noted that he has been in contact with LSU head coach Will Wade over the past three weeks to evaluate the team's system and development approach.
