Rey Mysterio reports Aalyah Mysterio is training at the WWE Performance Center

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio states that his daughter, Aalyah Gutierrez, is approximately five weeks into training at the WWE Performance Center. Aalyah began her professional wrestling journey earlier this summer after completing a human biology degree at UCSD in 2025. According to her father, she is learning at a rapid pace but experiences occasional frustration due to the breadth of technical knowledge required in the industry. Aalyah previously participated in an extensive training session in February 2026, which solidified her decision to pursue wrestling full-time. Although reports indicate WWE has added her to its internal roster as Aalyah Gutierrez, it remains unclear whether she will use this name for her eventual in-ring debut.
