Riley Crean joins Orlando Magic coaching staff as assistant coach

Riley Crean, son of former Indiana men's basketball coach Tom Crean, has reportedly been hired as an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic. He previously worked as the head video coordinator for the Dallas Mavericks, where he spent four years. During that time, he collaborated with Sean Sweeney, the new head coach of the Magic. A former standout baseball player at Bloomington North, Crean played college baseball at Georgia after transferring from IMG Academy. He graduated in 2022 and most recently worked with the Mavericks.
