Riverview volleyball recovers from early-season losses to beat Lakewood Ranch

Riverview secured a 3-1 victory over Lakewood Ranch on Monday, September 1, following a strategic effort to challenge the roster with difficult early-season opponents. After dropping the opening set 25-21, the Rams won three consecutive sets by scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-16. Head coach Jason Mocherman adjusted the team's defensive rotation and shifted personnel during the match to smooth out systemic issues identified during previous losses to Charlotte and Venice. Senior Lyla Bailey recorded over eight kills, while defensive specialist Harper Hayworth provided three aces during the second set comeback.
