Savannah Christian volleyball sweeps tri-match to maintain undefeated season record

The Savannah Christian volleyball team improved to 15-0 after sweeping a tri-match at South Effingham High School on Tuesday. The Raiders first defeated Effingham County 2-0 before navigating a competitive second match against the host South Effingham. Savannah Christian secured the win over South Effingham by taking the first set 25-14 and narrowly winning the second 28-26. Head coach Julie Jones noted the importance of the team's ability to spread their offense when pressured during the late-set battle. South Effingham, which dropped to 15-6 on the season, recorded a 2-0 victory against Effingham County earlier in the day. The results leave Savannah Christian as the only undefeated team in the tri-match group.
