Roma pursues Matteo Ruggeri as summer transfer target from Atletico Madrid

Summary

AS Roma are reportedly interested in signing Matteo Ruggeri from Atletico Madrid this summer. Ruggeri's future at Atletico is uncertain following the club's acquisition of Alejandro Grimaldo. With Angeliño's injuries affecting Roma’s squad, Ruggeri is seen as a potential fit for coach Gian Piero Gasperini's system. Initial reports suggest that a bid around €25 million could initiate negotiations, but the final cost may exceed that figure. Monitoring of this transfer is expected as the situation develops.
