Ron Jaworski announced his departure from NBC Sports Philadelphia on September 9, 2026, ending his four-year tenure with the network. The 75-year-old former Eagles quarterback cited a desire to reduce his broadcasting workload as the reason for his exit from the Eagles pregame and postgame coverage. Jaworski joined the network in 2022 to fill gaps left by the retirements of Ray Didinger and Seth Joyner. Prior to his time at NBC Sports Philadelphia, he spent 27 years at ESPN, including five seasons in the Monday Night Football booth. Alexandra Matcham, vice president of content for NBC Sports Philadelphia, confirmed the network has no plans to replace Jaworski on the panel. The broadcast team will continue with host Michael Barkann joined by analysts Barrett Brooks, Reuben Frank, and Jason Avant.
