Ronnie Bell carted off as fights erupt during Saints-Cowboys practice

During a joint practice between the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys in Oxnard, California, wide receiver Ronnie Bell was carted off the field due to overheating from the high temperatures. The practice featured several altercations, between the Saints offense and Cowboys defense. Following a brawl, Bell was seen alert but was taken for precautionary measures. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer acknowledged the need for players to protect themselves while also standing up for teammates. Both teams will continue joint practices through the week, with the Saints scheduled to work with the Los Angeles Rams next.
