Rooney praises Baleba's energy ahead of Leeds clash

Wayne Rooney commended Carlos Baleba for his performance despite Manchester United's 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Baleba, making his first start since his £70 million transfer from Brighton, contributed defensively with three recoveries and two tackles, while also attempting to influence the attack. With Kobbie Mainoo injured, Baleba is likely to retain his starting position for the upcoming match against Leeds United on Sunday. Manager Michael Carrick faces a decision if Mainoo returns to the squad.
