Roxanne Perez, Faby Apache, Natalya, and La Hiedra compete for AAA title match

With space to fill on two nights of AAA Triplemania 34, WWE continues with another random bout that should take a nice chunk of time. AAA announced a four-way tag team elimination contest with former NXT tag champs currently on the SmackDown roster. AAA confirmed the match with LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) versus Los Americanos (Bravo & Rayo) versus Tokyo Bad Boys (Nobu San & Kento) versus Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) for Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11. Even without that carrot, I have my eye on Los Americanos and Fraxiom to win. That victory would give Los Americanos momentum for a rematch from losing at Ola de Calor. Fraxiom would make sense as contenders for the upcoming Worlds Collide event. Or maybe not, considering that they’ve lost three times to the War Raiders in recent weeks. The updated lineup for Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11 includes: Rey Mysterio vs. Omos (suspension over or leave AAA forever) AAA World Trios Championship: Psycho Circus (c) vs. Los Perros del Mal #1 contender for AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Roxanne Perez vs. Faby Apache vs. Natalya vs. La Hiedra (winner challenges at Worlds Collide) LWO vs. Los Americanos vs. Tokyo Bad Boys vs. Fraxiom (elimination match) The lineup for Triplemania 34 Night 2 in Mexico City on Sunday, September 13 includes: AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. El Grande Americano AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) vs. La Catalina AAA Cruiserweight Championship: Fenix (c) vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Nathan Frazer Mexican Street Fight: Psycho Clown vs. El Carnicero (match not official yet) Thumbs up or thumbs down on this new four-way tag team elimination match for Triplemania 34?

With space to fill on the two-night Triplemania 34 event, the crossover between WWE and AAA comes in handy. The latest addition to the card involves WWE wrestlers in a #1 contender bout for the AAA women’s title. The news dropped that Roxanne Perez, Faby Apache, Natalya, and La Hiedra will compete in a four-way at Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on September 11. The winner advances to challenge for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at Worlds Collide in Chicago on September 26. This is an interesting mix of talent for the #1 contender bout. Roxanne is a two-time NXT women’s champion, so WWE is comfortable with her holding gold in their minor leagues. Faby is a four-time Reina de Reinas champion and a legend in the AAA women’s division. Natalya has won two singles titles in WWE (Divas and Smackdown Women’s). She came up short twice challenging Flammer in three-ways, which also included Faby. From the AAA storyline perspective, Hierda is the most interesting option. She is teammates with Flammer in Las Toxicas. General Manager Rey Mysterio must have gotten in her ear about singles success. She was a surprise participant in the recent #1 contender gauntlet match at Ola de Calor, and now this match. Hiedra explained that she is more concerned about keeping the title in Las Toxicas, whether that be in her hands or in Flammer’s.
