Royal Ascot enhances seating and shelter for attendees

Royal Ascot, which begins Tuesday, June 16, 2026, has introduced significant improvements for attendees, including an additional 1,580 square meters of shade and rain cover. The event has also added 1,789 seats, marking an increase of nearly 20% from last year, in response to customer feedback and the need for more shelter during the event. Organizers aim to address health concerns after instances of heat-related illnesses were reported in 2025. Attendees will have access to free water through 25 hydration stations installed on-site.
