Royce Keys receives main event push in WWE after recent heel turn

WWE creative leadership has pivoted Royce Keys into a significant main event role following his recent turn to a villainous persona. After initial plans to establish him as a babyface on SmackDown, the company shifted direction after an attack involving Jacob Fatu. Keys returned with the NXT duo OTM to target The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and LA Knight, culminating in a recent incident where the group set a rental car on fire. Reports indicate that decision-makers are pleased with his performance and consider him a candidate for a future world championship. The veteran wrestler joined the promotion last year after a six-year stint with AEW. He continues to feature prominently on WWE programming alongside his new stablemates.
