Rumson-Fair Haven defeats Holmdel behind five touchdowns from Brady Williams

Rumson-Fair Haven recorded a 40-28 victory over Holmdel in a Shore Conference Class A North game Thursday at Bob Roggy Memorial Field. Quarterback Brady Williams led the Bulldogs' offense, accounting for five touchdowns and 301 total yards. Williams scored three times on the ground and threw two touchdown passes to teammates Jason Tucker and Cole Spoonire. Despite the loss, Holmdel receiver Anthony Serini recorded 13 catches for 180 yards and two scores. The win allowed Rumson-Fair Haven to move to 3-0 on the season and avenge a loss to Holmdel from last year. The Bulldogs used a hurry-up offensive scheme throughout the game to increase the pace of play against a Holmdel roster utilizing players on both sides of the ball.
