Ryan Day prepares Ohio State for upcoming road game against Texas

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is scheduled to meet with the media at noon on September 8. The briefing follows the Buckeyes' opening 56-3 win over Ball State on September 5. During the season opener, quarterback Julian Sayin recorded 320 passing yards and four touchdowns while receiver Jeremiah Smith added 151 receiving yards on eight catches. Under the direction of new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, the team amassed 671 total yards of offense in their first outing. Ohio State now shifts its focus to a road matchup against No. 4 Texas in Austin. That game is scheduled for September 12 at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC.
