Saints linked to veteran WR Keenen Allen as best option

Summary

The conversation surrounding Keenan Allen joining the New Orleans Saints continues to grow. Analyst Daniel Popper of The Athletic identified the Saints as the optimal landing spot for the 34-year-old wide receiver, citing his previous success under Saints head coach Kellen Moore. Allen enjoyed a standout 2023 season with the Los Angeles Chargers, catching a franchise-record 108 passes. Despite concerns about his age, his experience would provide valuable support to an unproven receiving corps behind Chris Olave. While reports indicate potential fit, no interest from the Saints has been confirmed, and their limited salary cap poses a challenge in pursuing Allen, who has been a free agent since March.
