Nineteen-year-old swimmer Sam Craddock from Dorchester is set to compete at the Special Olympics Great Britain in Birmingham from August 27 to 30. Craddock, who has Down's syndrome, aims to participate in the 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke, and 100m individual medley. He trains weekly at the 1610 Dorchester Sports Centre and also swims at the Wild Shark Swim School in Shaftesbury, where his friend Jake Binns will also compete.
