San Diego Padres shift Randy Vásquez to the bullpen role

The San Diego Padres have moved Randy Vásquez to the bullpen following the return of Nick Pivetta to the starting rotation. The right-hander has recorded an ERA of 5.00 over 18 innings across six relief appearances this season compared to a 3.81 ERA in 22 starts.
