Santa Fe College breaks ground on new baseball and softball clubhouse

Santa Fe College held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new $2.5 million clubhouse for its baseball and softball teams on June 25, 2026. The facility will span 3,612 square feet and include locker rooms and future indoor batting cages. The project aims to enhance the student-athlete experience, providing a secure space for athletes who currently lack proper changing facilities. This initiative was driven by a long-standing vision following the baseball team's JUCO World Series trip in 2016, and it received significant funding from the Hitchcock Family. The clubhouse is expected to be completed by spring 2027.
