Scottish FA disbands key match incident review panel
Summary

The Scottish FA has announced the discontinuation of its independent key match incident review panel, effective immediately. This three-man panel, initiated in 2024, included former players and a club representative to enhance transparency in refereeing decisions. Concerns about the panel's effectiveness led to Dundee United withdrawing its representation last year, with other clubs reportedly following suit. SFA head of refereeing Willie Collum will continue to offer monthly video explanations on key decisions and hold meetings with team captains and managers to discuss incidents.
