Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders see attendance rise in first half

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders have experienced a significant boost in attendance during the first half of the 2026 season. They ranked fifth in minor league baseball for attendance growth, averaging 4,027 fans across 33 home dates, a nearly 20 percent year-over-year increase. With 39 of their remaining 69 games at home, RailRiders president Shawn Reilly credited improvements in the ballpark experience and promotion efforts for drawing in crowds. The team will also represent the Baby Bombers in select home games this season, with special uniforms to celebrate their top prospects. Their largest home crowd of the season reached 8,451 on April 28 against the Buffalo Bisons.
