Florida State will retire Sebastian Janikowski's No. 38 jersey during its college football opener against New Mexico State on Aug. 29. This marks Janikowski as the 13th Seminole to receive this honor. He had a distinguished college career, winning two Lou Groza Awards and setting several records. Janikowski's accolades include the only two-time Lou Groza Award winner distinction and a pivotal role in leading Florida State to its second national title in 1999.
