SEC removes LSU football expulsion from agenda for upcoming conference meeting

Following Rousse's written commitment that the roster was set and that the school would not disrupt the meeting, the SEC canceled a scheduled hearing regarding a federal lawsuit. While the immediate threat of expulsion is removed from the agenda, the federal litigation remains pending and the conference reserves the right to pursue other potential penalties.
