Sheridon Gumbs signs three-and-a-half-year contract with Leicestershire

Sheridon Gumbs has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Leicestershire after a successful one-month trial. The 22-year-old batter made a notable debut in June, scoring 49 runs against Essex and contributing to Leicestershire's first County Championship victory in over 8,300 days against Yorkshire. Gumbs has also participated in the T20 Blast this month. His new deal will keep him with the team until the end of the 2029 season.
