At Final X on June 19, Iowa wrestlers Spencer Lee and Everest Leydecker secured their places on the U.S. Senior World team. Lee won his best-of-three series against Luke Lilledahl with two victories at 57 kilograms, while Leydecker claimed both her matches against Areana Villaescusa at 55 kilograms. Their performances came after intense competition, with Lee rebounding from a previous loss to Lilledahl at the US Open. The duo will represent the U.S. at the Senior World Championships scheduled in Astana, Kazakhstan from October 24 to November 1.
