Spurs host Thunder in season opener, face Knicks on Christmas

The San Antonio Spurs will begin their 2026-27 season with a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 20. This matchup is a rematch following the Spurs' win in a seven-game Western Conference Finals series last season. Additionally, the Spurs will play the New York Knicks on Christmas Day, a team that defeated them for the NBA championship in June. The Spurs will also have a home game against Houston on October 23 at the Moody Center in Austin. The complete 2026-27 NBA schedule will be released later this week.
