St. Clair County Community College sweeps Timberwolves Quad tournament in Petoskey

St. Clair County Community College volleyball extended its winning streak to six matches after sweeping three opponents at the Timberwolves Quad held Aug. 28-29 at Petoskey Plastics Arena. The No. 17-ranked Skippers defeated North Central Michigan 3-1, then recorded straight-set victories against both Kellogg Community College and Alpena Community College. Sophomore Brooklynn Haack earned tournament MVP honors after tallying 37 kills across the three matches, with Addison Bolen and Kylie Traver also receiving all-tournament recognition. The team finished the week with a 6-0 record and currently holds a 7-3 overall standing. The Skippers continue their season on Sept. 4 with a road match at Delta College.
