Steelers sign former Pitt safety Brandon Hill as roster bolsters

The Pittsburgh Steelers have added former Pitt strong safety Brandon Hill to their roster, as announced on Tuesday. Hill, 25, was previously a seventh-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft. After stints with the Texans, Las Vegas Raiders, and most recently the Chicago Bears, who released him on August 11, the Steelers look to strengthen their defensive backfield with Hill's signing. During his time at Pitt, he was known for his three interceptions and nine passes defended.
